I use my desktop scanner to scan in documents and the OCR function is able to accurately convert the document into readable, searchable, and editable text. My absolute most favorite thing about Adobe Acrobat is the OCR scan function. I use it for everything from printing thermal shipping labels, editing PDFs, scanning documents and converting to OCR, and signing documents. I've tried other PDF software, but they no where near compare to Acrobat in terms of functionality nor quality. There are many uses for the software and it's hands down the best on the market. Comments: I have been using Acrobat for years now.
